| Math/Science/Engineering Electives |
There are three Math/Science/Engineering
elective course requirements in the curriculum. The total credit
of these three courses have to be at least 9 units.
All courses in this category are considered as being either Basic
Science or Engineering Science courses. Students are required to take
either one Basic Science course and two Engineering Science
courses, or vice versa. These grouping are defined below.

| Basic Science Electives |

Basic Science Electives
Courses with MATH, PHYS, CHEM, and MBG codes may be taken as Basic
Science electives. However, the following restrictions apply.
a.. CHEM 201 cannot a taken as Basic Science elective. (It may be
taken as an Engineering Science elective.)
b.. MBG 416 cannot be taken as a Math/Science/Engineering elective.
c.. Courses PHYS 100, PHYS 111, PHYS 112, PHYS 120, PHYS 170, PHYS
200, PHYS 315, and PHYS 316 cannot a taken as Math/Science/Engineering
electives.
d.. Among courses with MATH 1XX codes, only MATH 110, MATH 123, MATH
124 and MATH 132 can be taken as Math/Science/Engineering electives.
e.. Among courses with MATH 2XX codes, courses MATH 202, MATH 206,
MATH 211, MATH 220, MATH 223, MATH 225, MATH 227, MATH 230, MATH 240, MATH
250, MATH 255, MATH 262, MATH 264 and MATH 300 cannot be taken as
Math/Science/Engineering electives.
