 Final Course Scores (After Normalization)

  • What is included in the GE301 final exam?
    • There are two lists on our web page: http://kilyos.ee.bilkent.edu.tr/~ge301/

    -Assignments for each week

    -Lectures or presentations

    In the final, weeks 1,3,4,5,7,8 are excluded for both lists (NOT in exam). Everything else is included (IN the exam).

  • While we cannot make a guarantee about what you need to know by heart, generally speaking the emphasis will be on understanding of core ideas and issues, being able to provide examples, make comparisons, offer analysis, rather than reproduction of facts. However, being able to do so will require you to be knowledgeable about the general subject matter. Again generally speaking, you will not be expected to know relatively minor details, but you may be expected to know major and more significant points.

  • Careful preparation of a cheat sheet, deciding what to include and not can be an important part of your studying. Remember, it must be in your handwriting.

  • We will post who should go to which classroom later.
