Dariush received the B.S. degree with high honor in two majors from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran, July 2014. He is currently an MS student at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bilkent University, under the supervision of Dr. Suleyman S. Kozat. He won the full tuition waiver and Research Fellowship for his MS studies in Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, September 2014.

He has been graduated from the electrical engineering department of Tehran Polytechnic, with a 16.76/20 CGPA, 2013. During his undergraduate, Dariush was recognized as an exceptionally talented student and awarded to study computer science as a second major, from which he was graduated with a 17.13/20 CGPA, 2014. He was ranked the 6th in nationwide graduate schools entrance exam (Konkoor-e-karshenasi-e-arshad) in the field of "Decision Theory and Science Engineering", Iran, 2014. In high school, he was always in the first place in province-wide scientific exams. In addition, he was selected for the second round of National Mathematics and Physics Olympiads, for two consecutive years (2007, 2008) and also he was selected for the final round of computer laboratorial competition(2008), Iran.

He has submitted 5 journal papers in highly respected Journals. He has authored several conference papers in refereed high impact conference proceedings. His research interests include machine learning, online learning, big data analytics, optimization, adaptive filtering, and statistical signal processing.
