The compulsory textbook is an essential resource. You are responsible for reading and studying everything in the course textbook, unless we explicitly state that a section is omitted. Omitted sections will be listed on the course web page. It is strongly recommended that you keep up your studying with the lectures.
Attendance to lectures are not required, but not attending laboratory sessions can have negative affects on your grade. There will not be any preliminary work to turn in, but you should study the assignments prior to the lab. There will be a pre-quiz, lab report, and post-quiz associated with the lab.
The examinations will be open-book.
Homeworks will not be collected or graded, but there will be homework quizzes consisting of problems similar to those in the homeworks. Solving problems is an essential part of studying.
