Chapter 3: Skim through sections 3.2 and 3.7. Omit section 3.8.
Chapter 4: Skim through section 4.3.

Chapter 6: Omit 6.3 and 6.8. May skim through 6.7.3.
Chapter 7: Skim through 7.4, omit 7.5.3, read till the end of 7.6.3. Also read the summary section 7-10.
Chapter 8: Read 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, skim through 8.5 and 8.6, read the first paragraph of 8.8 (BIBO stability), omit the rest. Omit 8.7, 8.9, 8.10, 8.11.
Chapter 9: all included except 9.9 (using convolution to remove multipath distortion)
