MATH 250 Course Description and Syllabus

    Description: Basic  concepts of probability, expectation,  and  variance, covariance,  distribution functions,  conditional   distributions. The   Binomial  and   related distributions,  the  Poisson Process,  the  Exponential  and Gamma   distributions, the Normal distribution. Confidence intervals, parameter estimation and hypothesis testing.
     
    Grading
            15%  Homeworks ,
            15%  Quizzes,
            20%  Midterm 1,
            20%  Midterm 2,
            30%  Final.
